Eileen Rancharan started her journey at Concordia University Chicago where she provided college admission counseling for five years. More recently she serves as a College Transitions Coach at the College of Lake County. She coaches youth and their families through the college transition process and offers career counseling. She is driven to help others achieve wellness and mental health through teaching positive coping skills and empowerment.
Eileen completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Concordia University Chicago and has experience working with adolescents and young adults struggling with depression and/or anxiety; marital counseling; and grief counseling. She is trained in suicide assessment and intervention. She is grounded in cognitive behavioral techniques.
She is fluent in Spanish and is very comfortable working in multi-cultural settings or with families with diverse backgrounds.
