Tyler has been practicing counseling since 2019. He graduated with his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Tyler enjoys helping adults across the lifespan with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, boundaries, anger, communication, grief, pornography addiction, men’s and women’s issues, and life transitions. He also enjoys providing Christian Counseling.
Tyler enjoys meeting clients where they are at in a nonjudgmental, encouraging environment. He enjoys helping clients identify behaviors and beliefs that they have learned in their lives that may no longer be serving them. He prefers to look at things holistically to help clients achieve positive change. He uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a person-centered style and is passionate about teaching clients new skills from other theoretical orientations. He enjoys going deep with clients, helping them unpack their stories, heal through past wounds, as well as developing greater insight to become more of the person that God has always intended them to be.
